How do we do that? With decades of executive experience we realized we had the knowledge, models, and network in place to bring tremendous value, we just needed a clear cut methodology to deliver it. We came to call this method Intelligent Introductions, it works a little differently for EMS sourcing and components sourcing.
Intelligent Introduction for EMS is our gateway service. We gain an understanding of your objectives., which will define the region, capabilities, and costs you need. We then apply a range of EMS cost models to determine what you should pay (spoiler alert - we think everything should be manufacturable in the U.S. for the same costs as offshore). Without disclosing your name, we discuss your needs with top performing EMS companies to see if they are interested and if they can support the cost. When we find a match, we discuss the particulars with you, and if you're interested we set up the introduction.
Component sourcing is different. The problem is semiconductor pricing is sensitive to region, so unless you know the prices in the U.S., APAC, and EMEA you can't be sure you're getting the best cost. We solved this problem years ago. There are two outcomes with this service, sometimes we introduce you to a new source, and sometimes you use our work to leverage existing supply chains. We charge either a Flat Fee or a Success Fee, but either way we don't charge anything unless we've reduced your cost.
