Objectives of the Digital Trust Alliance (Guarantee) Limited I. Promotion of Best Practices • Develop and disseminate guidelines and standards for digital trust (cybersecurity, information security, governance, risk, compliance, and privacy) in conjunction with other national bodies. • Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practices among industry professionals and other stake holders through conferences, seminars, workshops and other engagements. II. Professional Development • Offer certification programs to validate the skills and expertise of cybersecurity professionals. • Organize training programs and workshops to keep members updated on the latest developments and trends in the field. III. Discharge the duties of Charter for Digital Trust • Receive and Maintain the Charter as per the recommendations of the line ministry. • Appoint committees, sub committees, academic councils to uphold the professional development objectives and industry development objectives. • Certify qualified individuals both local and international on aspects of digital trust. • Evaluate, Monitor, and Administrate all aspects of continuous professional development with regard to Digital Trust. IV. Advocacy and Representation • Advocate for policies and regulations that enhance cybersecurity and information security at the national level. • Represent Sri Lanka in international cybersecurity forums and collaborate with global organizations to enhance the country's cybersecurity posture. V. Collaboration and Research • Encourage collaboration between academia, industry, and government to advance cybersecurity research and innovation. • Provide grants and funding for research projects that aim to solve critical cybersecurity challenges. • Build sustainable partnerships with peripheral stakeholders for awareness building and other best practices.
