Digital Avicenna is a tele-medicine service providing remote cardiologists' and other medical specialists' opinions/interpretations based on the submitted medical test results of the patients worldwide. The key target markets are the countries with a severe lack of the specialized physicians in such geographical areas as Africa, India, Eastern Asia, Latin America and Pacific hemisphere. There are three types of services provided by the company:
• Government service (B2G) for the nation-wide, government-sponsored or not-for-profit funds-sponsored for initial screening of population of specific jurisdictions or countries;
• Enterprise service (B2B) for the privately-held hospitals and clinics;
• Retail service (B2C) for private clients worldwide who want a second physicians’ opinion, live in a remote location or for any other purpose.
One can register as a client and go through all the functionality of the patient's/client’s cabinet. There are separate accounts/dashboards for cardiologists/oncologists/General Medicine doctors and the administrator. The client after registration receives access to his personal client’s account. He/she can download all his/her test results (cardiogram and extended blood test) and fill in the client's questionnaire. He/she can also download a close-up photo of his/her face. It will help the Digital Avicenna’s cardiologists to make interpretation more informative and precise. After all the test results have been downloaded and a payment is made, one of the cardiologists receives an assignment to interpret them, providing a standardized half page interpretation/conclusion in PDF for a client within three business days. The client‘s identity is anonymous for the cardiologist and only the administrator knows the client/patient’s identity. The interpretation is downloaded then back into the client’s personal cabinet and he/she can see it.
