Dignita Foundation

Founded in 2020 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dignita is a leading organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking, empowering victims, and driving systemic change. We combine direct support for vulnerable groups with research-based advocacy to address the root causes of trafficking and influence policies at the national and international levels. Our work focuses on prevention, social inclusion, specialized education, empowerment, and advocacy. We provide tailored programs for victims of trafficking, marginalized communities, and refugees. Dignita collaborates with European institutions, global organizations and national agencies equipping decision-makers with actionable insights and recommendations. Our legal support has improved access to justice to victims as well as strategic litigation landmark cases in the European Court of Human Rights. We are trusted partners for advancing anti-trafficking initiatives across Europe and are currently part of international consortia uniting government agencies and civil society organisations and public policy institutes.
