Dijla Poultry was established in 1980 in Jubail City as a pioneer company in this critical industry with the purpose of contributing to Saudi Arabia self-sufficiency from poultry in addition to supporting food security. Food industries have been growing on an accelerated base for the last few years, food products have been diversified and developed in a way that suits the growing population and urban expansion. Since then, the company had succeeded in moving forward in firm steps toward achieving its objectives, the production increased from 500 hens in 1980 to 5,000,000 hens in the meantime. The company owns 3 farms for broiler hens and 3 farms for egg laying hens with a capacity of 250,000 breeding hens (ommat), in addition to two hatching facilities with a capacity of 60,000,000 chicks. DULA Poultry is moving forward toward implementing expansion plans to increase production in order to fulfill the high demand for its products and to support clients' needs in all regions according to the vision of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030
