DI-Lab, the Engineering Design Initiative. Launched at the School of Engineering from P. Universidad Católica de Chile, it focuses on engineering education driven by sensitivity to local cultural values and beliefs. For some individuals, Engineering can be considered just a form of applied science. For us, Engineering Design offers unlimited resources for exploring the possibilities of a new made world and to re-imagine the complex issues that humanity faces. We work with: design-anthropology, collective creativity, visualization and recombinant innovation to assess real life ill-defined issue
