Der DiP-Verbund etabliert im südlichen Sachsen-Anhalt eine Modellregion für eine digitalisierte, klimaneutrale und wettbewerbsfähige Bioökonomie, welche sich durch wissenschaftliche Exzellenz, innovative Industrien und attraktive Arbeitsplätze auszeichnet.
Durch die hohe Konzentration an international führenden Pflanzenforschungsinstituten, dem Zentrum der Genomforschung und Züchtungsforschung an Getreidearten bildet die Pflanzenbiotechnologie eine Kernkompetenz in Sachsen-Anhalt. Diese haben ihre Kompetenzen gebündelt und entwickeln bis Ende 2028 in 20 Forschungsverbünden verschiedenste neue Methoden und Ansätze.
