The company was based on the idea of sending image greetings via the Internet from tourist locations around the world - at a time where Internet still involved cables, Netscape was still the dominant browser, very few had digital cameras and no one had camera phones.
Seed investment was made by Northzone Ventures. Customers included Danish and International theme parks like Legoland, Tivoli Gardens, Six Flags Magic Mountain (US), Dyreparken (Norway) - Danish and International hotel chains like Ving Resorts and Fairfield Resorts, now Wyndham (US) - as well as Danish and International internet portals like opasia.dk, tv2.dk and Fotango.com. The product and technology platform was based on advanced image processing and grew into pure online solutions with a focus on user friendly image handling (aka: adding funny hats and moustaches to your own image) - combined with administration platform for customers.
