Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is an Allied Health and disability and community supports provider that delivers services such as psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, and support work. Our multidisciplinary team takes a holistic approach towards facilitating our client’s mental and physical health, wellbeing, and performance.
DFS currently consists of three main clinics located in Kingsford, Norwest, and Wollongong. We also provide consultation services and assistance to external stakeholders to establish satellite clinics and enhance the quality and availability of allied health and disability and community support services in their local area. To date, DFS has successfully supplied these services throughout the NSW Central West (including the Bathurst, Lithgow, and Dubbo areas) as well as Melbourne. We work with local providers to attract and maintain a strong workforce of medical professionals in the area such as GPs, paediatricians, and psychiatrists.
Our multidisciplinary expert team emphasises a holistic approach throughout our services, working collaboratively across all levels of the organisation in the pursuit of the best possible outcomes for our clients, who range from children to adults and come from a diverse range of backgrounds. We understand that everyone experiences physical and mental health conditions differently. Because of this, our therapies are tailored to the unique needs of the individual.
At DFS we are proud to offer a wide assortment of services such as psychological assessments, psychology, psychotherapy and counselling, occupational therapy, speech pathology, disability and community support, neurofeedback, medico-legal reports and mediation, and performance enhancement programs. We are able to support our clients to navigate a number of conditions, such as anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, trauma and PTSD, autism, ADD/ADHD, and anger management.
