The engineers at DirectACCESS partnered with interventionalists at Davita's Lifeline Vascular to develop the first purpose built line of PTA catheters for challenging vascular access procedures.
Once approved to market in the US, the FirstChoice UHP PTA catheters were quickly used in over 30,000 clinical procedures with overwhelming clinical response.
The FirstChoice UHP PTA catheter technology was acquired by Merit Medical Systems where they are currently sold.
