Directions Disability Support Services

Directions provides relationship-based and individually tailored support to over 300 families throughout the Perth metropolitan area. We pride ourselves on providing support that is flexible, creative and inclusive, and enables people to dream big and reach their desired goals. We recognise that support is not limited to the person with disability and we also work with families, strengthening the entire unit. Our staff and volunteers are an exceptional group of people who build strong relationships with the people that we support and their families, and thrive on sharing their lives. Our four main services are: 1. Individualised Services 2. Therapy Services - Directions is a registered general and specialist therapy provider delivering; Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Counselling, Occupational Therapy. 3. Host Families 4. Groups and Clubs Directions supports people who have access to their own funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and through block funding in areas not yet covered by NDIS. We provide opportunities for people to participate in activities that: encourage lifelong learning; lead to increased independence; promote friendships; and enable people to actively contribute to their community.
