Dis/Connect

our mission: we inspire teens and young adults to reset their relationships with screens and help their communities do the same. dis/connect provides in-person meetings for teens and young adults to unpack their complicated relationships to their devices, especially their phones. in weekly, one-hour meetings facilitated by teen leaders and experienced educators dis/connect combines a harm-reduction mindset with peer-led connection. every meeting ends with a “hobby hangout,” where we explore handiwork activities to replace our device dependence. dis/connect groups meet wherever teens and young adults already gather: schools, churches, community centers, athletic fields, even college campuses. contact us to start one in your community!
