About Disability At Work Network (DAWN)
The Disability At Work Network (DAWN) is a University of Sydney staff network for employees with disabilities, staff in disability support roles, carers and disability researchers. The DAWN is led by a voluntary steering committee of staff with lived-experience of Disability. The network is a safe space for employees to connect over common experiences, advocate for access and inclusion, consult on University initiatives and serve our Disability community. Contact us: If you are a current University of Sydney staff member you can follow the network on Yammer/Viva Engage to start chatting with other network members or email diversity.inclusion@sydney.edu.au to contact the steering committee directly. We also welcome enquiries from prospective staff members with Disabilities who might want to learn about what it's like to work at the University email diversity.inclusion@sydney.edu.au. Come along to one of our public events (advertised here on this LinkedIn page) and meet other people with Disabilities already working here!
