MISSION: Disability Network Wayne County - Detroit is to empower, educate and advocate for individuals with disabilities while promoting independent living, inclusion and accessible pathways.
VISION: Our vision is a community within Wayne County that embraces the uniqueness of disabilities with respect and dignity while having equal access to all parts of the community which they live.
We provide five core services: (1) Advocacy (2) Independent Living Skills Training (3) Information & Referral (4) Peer Support and (5) Transition
Approximately 60% of our employees identify as people with disabilities.
We provide services to people of all ages and all disabilities as well as the business community.
