Founded in 2016, Disability Partnerships collaborates across various partner sectors (business, nonprofit, government and education) to achieve goals in these program areas: economic empowerment, education, affordable accessible housing and physical health and wellness. We set a broad goal for each of the program areas and then build an ecosystem of non-profit organizations, government agencies, businesses and faith-based institutions to achieve each goal.
Our approach is based on a mission of working together to create an interconnected and interdependent approach to achieve goals. We work with partners to find solutions to the social problems associated with physical disability.
Through strategic partnerships, strategic communication and attendance at our adaptive fitness events, Disability Partnerships has met multiple milestones during its first few years as an organization.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities. We believe that persons with disabilities can do more than just survive with a disability they can thrive and achieve even greater heights as people who live with disabilities.
