Discern Science (DS) is an AI company that formed in 2018 to commercialize the Discern-AVATAR: automated interview technology that detects the possibility of hidden deception in a wide range of situations. From insider threats – embezzlement, fraud, forgery, theft of intellectual property/physical property and sabotage – to mass transit passenger screening, the Discern-AVATAR offers fast, affordable, easy to deploy solutions worldwide.
Prior to the formation of DS, the Discern-AVATAR technology was developed with over $30 million of government funded research by world renowned experts in the fields of MIS and Nonverbal Communication. The Discern-AVATAR has been scientifically proven in diverse locations under the oversight of US military and security agencies (Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Protection and TSA), the Canadian government, and the European Union.
