DISCONNECTED is a community based organization that was brought together by a group of young adults, located in the surrounding Charlotte area, who aim to discuss important issues in society including racial inequalities, women's rights, LGBTQ+, police brutality, sexual misconduct and the historical impacts of systemic barriers and depictions of individuals in mainstream media. DISCONNECTED is a diverse, progressive organization that strives to connect those who are DISCONNECTED through unity, informative engagement and compassion. We believe in a harmonious, diverse atmosphere that promotes equality for all. DISCONNECTED was formed to bring light to and broadcast salient issues that can be seen in cultures not only in America, but all over the world.
