Discordia Gallery

Discordia is a Melbourne-based platform for contemporary art and discourse. Founded in 2020, Discordia seeks to establish an experimental venue for the arts; convening, exhibiting, and supporting critical voices of contemporary artists and practitioners within Australia. Self-organised and largely self-funded Discordia is decidedly removed from reliance on dependency lines that restrict artists and practitioners from participating in the nexus of art presentations and discourse. With an ongoing interest in empowering practitioners, Discordia provides exhibitions to artists at no cost on a case by case basis, embracing resolution through method, outcomes through trial and happening.
