Discovering Español (formerly Discovering the World Through My Son's Eyes) is a bilingual parenting and multicultural parenting blog that provides resources, activities, and insights for raising children in a culturally diverse and multilingual environment. The site focuses on celebrating diversity, promoting bilingualism, and offering educational content for families, including crafts, travel tips, and language-learning tools. Through personal stories and practical advice, the blog encourages parents to nurture global awareness and cultural appreciation in their children. Under the Discovering Español platform, I offer online Spanish lessons tailored to help Hispanic and Latino families, especially those with third-generation children, reconnect with their heritage language. My teaching goes beyond mere language instruction; it bridges the gap between language, heritage, and culture, making learning Spanish engaging and accessible. Additionally, I create bilingual print and digital resources that emphasize Hispanic and Latinx heritage, culture, and Spanish short stories, specifically designed for K-6 students and homeschoolers.
