Dismantle is run by Sara Bernstein and Elise Chatelain, who met years ago while earning their PhDs in Cultural Studies at UC Davis and have been working together ever since. They founded Dismantle Magazine in 2016 and ran the publication until 2024. Now, they bring together their project management and communications backgrounds to offer professional services in writing, research, and education to the federal government, commercial businesses, and individual clients.
