The Distance Learning Centre Limited (DLC) is a fully State Owned Institute functioning under the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government. It was established as a World Bank Project in 2002 with counterpart funding from the Government of Sri Lanka.
Over the last 21 years, DLC has been able to deliver capacity-building programs to employees in Government and Private Sector organizations to increase their productivity and efficiency, also DLC has become a credible Training venue for many clients in the country.
DLC has consistently received favorable feedback from the clients who use the facility. Higher technical support, superior infrastructure, friendly staff, and flexible management processes have contributed to earning this name. However, there is much potential for it to grow, given its strengths and the opportunities that are evolving in Sri Lanka and abroad.
