We believe that numbers have a story to tell, but sometimes you need a translator. We work with the founders and executives of scaling businesses on the quality, use and understanding of their business information, more so than its preparation – complementing and enhancing their existing accounting support (rather than replacing it). CFO advisory (including fractional CFO support) is our core capability, but also assisting with FP&A, decision support, modelling, financial/data literacy training. Founded by Steve McGrath, Distil Advisory brings his experience as the CFO of one of Australia's largest and most successful private businesses (Peregrine - responsible for the flagship OTR convenience brand, sold to Viva Energy Australia in 2024 for >$1b).
