The Directorate of ICT & eGovernance under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, is the nodal office driving the digital transformation of the state. Our mission is to harness the power of Information Technology to deliver efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance. We are committed to building a digitally empowered Gujarat by promoting innovation, enhancing IT infrastructure, and enabling inclusive access to digital services across urban and rural areas. Key Activities and Focus Areas 1 Acting as a Nodal Office for implementation of IT/ITeS and Startup/Innovation Policies 2 Providing technical assistance in all ICT Activities to Government Departments. 3 Framing IT/ITeS, Global Capability Center policy and Startup/Innovation Policies. 4 Bring-in increased transparency, efficiency and accountability in Government operations through e-Governance. 5 Extending support to Government Departments towards the preparation of Detailed Project Reports, preparation of Request for Proposals, Bid Process Management and Implementation Support for e-Governance activities. 6 Coordination of all IT projects in the government. 7 Research & Development of new technologies and prescribe uniform standards. 8 Capacity Building and Training of Government Officials. 9 Implementation of Gujarat State Data Centre (GSDC) Follow the DST Upskilling Initiative Under Gujarat IT/ITeS policy channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAh36uCB
