Divergent Wealth Pty Ltd was born because Angelo felt passionate about empowering the next generation in taking control of their wealth, and ultimately their future and financial freedom. As a new breed of Financial Adviser, post-Royal Commission, everything needed a shake-up, and this meant finally putting ethics, technology, and best practices front and centre.
Angelo began his working career in 2013 as a risk insurance consultant, before becoming a licensed Financial Adviser in 2018. He is highly customer-centric
with a strong and comprehensive understanding of financial planning strategies, in particular superannuation, retirement, risk (life insurance), and investments.
During this time, he has provided advice to mums and dads, young people, well-known CEOs, and even a Senior Federal Minister.
Angelo has completed all current requirements from the FASEA (Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority) education standard, as well as having earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Economics from La Trobe University and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning from Mentor Education.
In 2018 Angelo recognized people taking the medication PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis; medication that prevents HIV in people at risk of infection with the virus) would have issues obtaining comprehensive life insurance. Using his extensive networking in the industry he found success working with select insurers to get a solution for the LGBTIQA+ community.
Angelo is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, both professionally and personally; for example, every week he volunteers to teach underprivileged youths how to drive to obtain their probationary license through the TAC L2P program.
When Angelo isn’t working, he’s either on the hunt for Melbourne’s best coffee (yes, your recommendations are accepted and appreciated!), at a family dinner, with friends out exploring, making pasta from scratch, or generally keeping fit.
