DIVINE KIND is a sound-led platform and research practice exploring how music, storytelling, and cultural memory can shape more joyful, equitable futures. Founded and led by DJ-Researcher Dana Sousa-Limbu, DIVINE KIND blends creative practice with critical inquiry—using DJing, live performance, radio, and sonic installations to engage public audiences and archive collective experience.
DIVINE KIND's work investigates how public music spaces can foster cultural belonging, joy, and ethical care—and in doing so, address urgent urban challenges like social fragmentation, inequality, and emotional precarity. Through projects like the INTERCONNECTED radio show (published on Mixcloud), live sets at events such as the London Design Biennale, and participatory installations at community festivals, DIVINE KIND reimagines how knowledge is produced and shared.
Rooted in Black and POC diasporic experience and collective listening, DIVINE KIND operates at the intersection of sound, culture, and social transformation—building new ways to archive, imagine, and resist through music.
