Diya Foundation

Diya Foundation is a development organization and primarily focusses on three thematic verticals i.e., Livelihood, Health and education. It has successfully reached out 10500 small and marginal households. In the thematic area of livelihood Diya Foundation works for enhancement of existing and creation of new rural Livelihood opportunities among the small and marginal farmers through various agriculture and allied activities. Diya Foundation also created 250 entrepreneurs by promoting Decentralized Renewable Energy enabled livelihood solutions. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, Diya Foundation has its registered office is at Smit Village, East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya and its Administrative Cum Head Office in Kamrup Rural, Assam. Diya Foundation’s interventions are in two states namely Assam and Meghalaya. In Assam it works in three districts namely Kamrup, Goalpara and in Meghalaya it works in the Jirang Block of Ri-Bhoi district..
