About Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law

The Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law (“DJCIL”) was established in 1990 and is dedicated to the publication of original scholarship on international, transnational and comparative law matters. The Journal is edited by a student board and publishes two issues annually. DJCIL not only publishes articles by international scholars and practitioners, but also draws upon Duke’s prominent international and comparative law faculty. If you are interested in submitting a piece to our journal, please do so via Scholastica. Our review period for articles is between January and March every year – barring any exceptional circumstances, we will not consider expedite requests submitted outside of our review period. Please feel free to email us at djcil@law.duke.edu with any questions about our journal or submissions.
