Djungle Studio

Djungle Studio is a venture builder – through its factory, it creates startups with a focus on new B2C digital services. It transforms (internal) ideas into businesses, minimizing the risk of failure and turning them into real business opportunities for investors and companies looking to acquire them. With its incubator, Space for Imagination, it accelerates external startups that, through the Launcher Program, validate crucial aspects of their service or business model and prepare to raise their first seed investment. Djungle Studio actively plays the role of an innovation promoter within the Italian ecosystem by regularly organizing thematic events, collaborating with key partners in the Turin area, and supporting initiatives like TEDx Torino, aimed at spreading an entrepreneurial mindset and fostering the emergence of new ideas. Founded as Djungle in 2017 with the goal of driving innovation in the retail sector- rethinking customer loyalty while introducing gamification and big data - it quickly achieved significant milestones and worked with well-known brands such as Flying Tiger Copenhagen. In January 2021, Planet Smart City—a global proptech leader specializing in the design and development of sustainable and affordable cities, neighborhoods, and housing—acquired Djungle. Following this acquisition, Djungle evolved into a specialized unit focused on designing and validating new business opportunities to engage user communities through expert and innovative use of digital channels. In its new form as a startup studio, Djungle has become a true startup factory - a powerhouse that continuously validates, creates, and iterates disruptive business models within specific industries.
