Visual Communication Design Department is one of the study programs with the highest interest in the selection of college entrance exams at ITS Surabaya-Indonesia. Students will learn to process visual language as a communication tool or information media for social or commercial purposes. To be a student in the Department of Visual Communication Design, prospective students must pass a series of admission tests followed by visual ability tests. Not only the students are required to be able to process visual object but also has the intelligence to solve everyday problems. The department is supported by learning facilities such as class studios and varied specialized laboratories with expert and qualified lecturers in charge of it. Graduates of this department can work in various fields such as graphic design, photography, animation, illustrator, game development, and many more. Currently, there are 566 alumni who play active roles in the country’s creative industry. Its sector ranges from being a design business owner, an in-house designer, to working in government, or being an entrepreneur.
