The Institute has three major services: medical and health sciences education, health care through De La Salle University Medical Center, and the De La Salle Angelo King Medical Research Center.

DLSUMC is the biggest tertiary hospital in the region which provides the most advanced services and facilities for health care. The DLS AKMRC — which is capable of conducting clinical trials for FDA registration of food, drugs, and devices — performs the most number of clinical trials each year among private medical research institutions in the Philippines. It is the first in the country to have been chosen by the US NIH to be a clinical research site for a global study.
