Deep Learning Ulaanbaatar Summer School

The Deep Learning Ulaanbaatar (DLUB) summer school was first initiated in 2018 to introduce Mongolian youth to the rapidly evolving field of AI. We organized our fifth summer training in 2023 and have trained over 800 students to date. Our courses are taught by instructors who conduct cutting-edge research in AI at the international level, and are characterized by a methodical approach to imparting foundational theoretical knowledge. Each year, we select a specific sub-topic within the field of AI and deliver a comprehensive program comprising lectures and seminars over five days. Our distinguished teaching team comprises more than ten experts and researchers from renowned international companies such as Google and Meta and leading institutions in the USA, Japan, and Australia. Furthermore, we have invited 15 foreign scientists to participate in our training programs over the past five years. Since 2023, we have established a non-profit organization to expand our activities. DLUB's primary objective is to contribute to the advancement of AI education in Mongolia. In the future, we plan to extend our reach beyond summer training programs.
