The Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society (DMBIUBIH) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, founded in March 2014.
DMBIUBIH is a union of stakeholders in the field of medical and biological engineering. The Society members are university professors, doctors, engineers and technicians in the field of medicine and engineering, as well as students, young people and professionals interested in this field. They actively participate in Society activities including scientific events, conferences and projects.
Since 2015, DMBIUBIH has been a member of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) and, since 2017, it has been a member of the European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES).
In 2020, the DMBIUBIH signed a collaboration agreement with American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE).
