Debt Management Credit Counseling

Debt Management Credit Counseling Corp. ("DMCC”) is a 501c3 charitable organization based in Deerfield Beach, Broward County, Florida (www.dmcconline.org). DMCC provides counseling, education, and debt management plans to consumers across the United States. DMCC is accredited by Bureau Veritas as compliant with ISO 9001:9015 standards, is an Approved Adopter of the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling, is approved by the U.S. Department of Justice to provide bankruptcy counseling and education, is approved by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation as a DPP Credit Counselor for payday loan deferments, and is a HUD Approved Multi-State Organization with branch offices in Stuart, FL and Ithaca, NY. DMCC is a member of the Financial Counseling Association of America and maintains an A+ rating with the BBB of Southeast Florida. DMCC counseling and education services focus on the managing of credit and debt, budgeting of personal finances, and housing issues. Counseling and education services are primarily provided through face-to-face and telephone counseling sessions, onsite seminars and workshops at schools, community centers and businesses, online educational courses, and the distribution of free educational materials. DMCC is approved by HUD to provide comprehensive housing counseling to residents of Florida and New York, including pre-purchase counseling and homebuyer education, non-delinquency post purchase counseling, mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling, financial literacy, educational workshops, and reverse mortgage counseling. All housing counseling programs include free assistance with implementing affordable repayment plans for federal student loans and Florida payday loans. Counseling services are provided by certified counselors employed by DMCC, and are available in English, Spanish, and Creole.
