Deutsche Model United Nations e.V.

As a non-governmental and non-profit organisation we at Deutsche (German) Model United Nations (DMUN) e.V. are committed to political education and empowerment of young people. We founded DMUN to counteract the disenchantment with politics among adolescents and young adults in order to inspire them for international politics. Therefore, we have been annually hosting Model United Nation conferences in Stuttgart and Kiel since 2002, in which participants adopt the role of international delegates at the United Nations. Furthermore, we stand up for innovative concepts of political youth education and the participation of young people in political descision making processes at international conferences. Our goal is to achieve a status quo that guarantees youth delegates with all their issues and interests being involved in policy making at an early stage.
