Darfur Network for Human Rights

DNHR is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) that works to promote and protect human rights and fundamental liberties in Darfur and other areas of Sudan. We do this by monitoring and documenting human rights violations, providing legal assistance to victims, and advocating for change with the Sudanese government and international community. We believe that all people have the right to live in peace and security, free from fear of violence or discrimination. We are committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure that the human rights of all Sudanese people are respected and protected. Here are some of the specific ways in which we work to promote and protect human rights in Darfur and Sudan: -We monitor and document human rights violations, including killings, arbitrary arrests, torture, and sexual violence. -We provide legal assistance to victims of human rights abuses, including helping them to file complaints with the Sudanese government and the International Criminal Court. -We advocate for change with the Sudanese government and the international community. We call on the Sudanese government to investigate and prosecute human rights abuses, and we urge the international community to provide support to the Sudanese people. We believe that everyone has the right to live in peace and security, free from fear of violence or discrimination.
