DNA Consultants was founded in 2003 by Donald and Teresa Yates as a family business with a deep interest in ancestry and cultural identity. Our approach has always been different. We use proprietary databases and scientific methods that are not available from other companies. We were among the first to offer specialized testing for Cherokee, Native American, and Jewish ancestry. Our work blends forensic-level detail with a personal touch that makes the experience meaningful. In 2019 we launched the Basic American Indian DNA Test, considered the most sensitive test available for Native American ancestry. Since then we have expanded our offerings with targeted reports such as the Basic Jewish DNA Fingerprint Test and the Basic Hispanic DNA Test. Each test is designed to reveal connections to your roots that are often overlooked by standard services.
