Welcome to the DNA storage lab! The lab is led by Prof. Eitan Yaakobi and is in the Computer Science Department at the Technion, Taub building.
The mission of the lab is to conduct theoretical and applied research for the development of DNA-based storage systems. This is done by developing and adapting theoretical schemes from various disciplines such as coding theory, information theory, algorithms, discrete mathematics, algebra, machine learning and more. This theory is implemented and tested using several tools in our lab such as the SOLQC, the DNA-Storalator as well as wet experiments of synthesis and sequencing DNA in our lab.
