Downs and Special Friends (DNSF) is a community-led charity dedicated to supporting children, young people, and families affected by Down syndrome, autism, ADHD, and a range of additional needs.
Based in West Yorkshire, our mission is to create inclusive spaces, life-enriching experiences, and long-term opportunities for individuals with disabilities—whether verbal, non-verbal, diagnosed, or undiagnosed.
Through weekly activities, family events, tailored support, advocacy, and inclusive campaigns, we bring families together, break down barriers, and empower every child to thrive in a world that sees their strengths.
We work closely with schools, hospitals, local authorities, and community partners to promote understanding, champion accessibility, and fight for every individual’s right to live a joyful and dignified life.
