Do No Harm Foundation is a not-for-profit organization focused on promoting greater awareness of mental health.
Our mission:
Break the current stigma around mental health by raising awareness that mental health involves more than dealing with schizophrenia and bipolar-ism, but also demands tackling, among others, stress, anxiety, depression, and self-harm, which affect a majority of the population, according to numerous studies. We will also provide various hands-on tools to alleviate stress, depression, and anxiety.
Our target audience: high school and college students and the working adult.
Approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S.—43.8 million, or 18.5%—experiences mental illness in a given year, according to the NIH. We need to continue to work together to end the stigma of mental illness.
