Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (DOATAP) - Hellenic NARIC

Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center is the official body of the Hellenic Republic for the academic recognition of titles and qualifications awarded by foreign Higher Education Institutions, as well as for the provision of accurate information on the Higher Educations Institutions and qualifications in Greece and abroad. The Hellenic NARIC is a Public Legal Entity, supervised by the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, based in Athens. The Organization uses the name “Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (Hellenic NARIC)” in its international relations. Under this name, it is a member of ENIC network (European Network of National Information Centers) and NARIC network (National Academic Recognition Information Centers). DOATAP reports to the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs on the Lisbon Recognition Convention and informs UNESCO, the Council of Europe and LRC Committee on the issues falling within its competency. Ο Διεπιστημονικός Οργανισμός Αναγνώρισης Τίτλων Ακαδημαϊκών και Πληροφόρησης (ΔΟΑΤΑΠ) είναι ο επίσημος φορέας της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας για την ακαδημαϊκή αναγνώριση τίτλων που απονέμονται από εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα ανώτατης εκπαίδευσης της αλλοδαπής και για την έγκυρη πληροφόρηση για τα Ανώτατα Εκπαιδευτικά Ιδρύματα και τους τίτλους σπουδών στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Ο ΔΟΑΤΑΠ είναι Νομικό Πρόσωπο Δημοσίου Δικαίου, εποπτευόμενο από τον Υπουργό Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων, με έδρα την Αθήνα. Ο Οργανισμός στις διεθνείς του σχέσεις χρησιμοποιεί την επωνυμία “Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (Hellenic NARIC)”. Με την ονομασία αυτή είναι μέλος των δικτύων ENIC (European Network of National Information Centers) και NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centers). Αναφέρεται στο Υπουργείο Παιδείας & Θρησκευμάτων για τη Lisbon Recognition Convention (LRC) και ενημερώνει την UNESCO, το Council of Europe και την LRC Committee για θέματα της αρμοδιότητάς του.
