Dobbie is a foundry and engineering complex located in Perth, W.A. We are an Australian, family-owned business and proudly champion Australian sovereign manufacturing capability. Since 1862, incorporated in W.A from 1940, we have been leaders in precision engineered castings for Waterworks Valves, Civil Infrastructure, Mining, Rail, Heavy Industry and the Defence sectors. Dobbie operates as a “Jobbing Foundry”, broadly defined as having the ability to efficiently handle a variety of patterns, requiring a diversity of materials, from which relatively few castings are made per order. Specialists in both ferrous and non-ferrous castings, Dobbie offers a complete service package from concept to completion, incorporating our vertically integrated production process: from design; 3D modelling & printing; prototyping; patternmaking; casting; Heat Treatment; engineering/machining; assembly; testing and certification.
