What is DocChat? DocChat is China's first online healthcare advisory platform that links Chinese patients with Western doctors. By using WeChat, DocChat utilizes China’s largest social media APP and puts the user one click away from their Western doctor. DocChat’s other business line is medical travel of Chinese patients to foreign countries for medical treatments. Who are we? We are two expats in China trying to make a difference in China's healthcare system. We want to provide a channel for Chinese and Expats living in China to connect with western medical professionals. We are simply providing a platform to get a 2nd opinion from a western medical professional. What are DocChat's goals? 1) To build and set up a mobile-based healthcare advisory service that links consumers in China with top quality, reliable and certified doctors and medical specialists from the USA and Europe (some of whom may currently be in China) 2) To provide such service in an easy, fast and cost-effective manner 3) To help Chinese people live a healthier and happier life by being China’s most trustworthy online Western healthcare advisory service Why DocChat? As long term expats in China we have come across many examples of inadequate health diagnosis and treatments. While many people may have friends or families that are doctors, many don't. Visiting a Chinese hospital for a second opinion is time consuming and often not very efficient. Our platform will link you with a Western doctor who can supplement the advice of a local medical professional.
