At DocEcho we create tools that use conversational AI to automate several tasks in the provider care flow, thus reducing required visit time by 20%-45%. Our vision is to automate simpler and more routine tasks, such as symptom and sign checks, and pre- and after visit summaries that normally require precious patient-provider time to allow providers to focus squarely on direct medical care. At the same time patients are offered a natural interface with their provider that allows them to interact more frequently and understand their care plans better. We firmly believe that these conversational interfaces will revolutionize the way patients understand and participate in care while relieving the providers of the burden of unnecessary or routine tasks that require patient interaction, thus freeing doctor time for diagnosing, problem solving and treatment. Further, our goal is to utilize these interfaces to engage patients in providing data by proactively inquiring about their health in a guided way. This will allow better pre-visit triaging to limit unnecessary visit within the low risk population, while allowing detection of more serious conditions using AI to deliver cost-effective interventions for the high-risk population.
