PT Nusantara Sembcorp Solar Energi

PT Nusantara Sembcorp Solar Energi (PT NSSE) is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) company established to develop, construct, and operate the 50 MWac Solar Power Plant (PLTS) project located in the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN), Indonesia’s new capital. This strategic renewable energy project is a joint venture between PT PLN Nusantara Renewables, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s state electricity company PT PLN (Persero), and Sembcorp Utilities Pte Ltd, a leading energy and urban development company based in Singapore. The PLTS IKN project is a flagship initiative to support the Indonesian government’s commitment to achieving a sustainable and low-carbon energy transition, while ensuring reliable and clean power supply for the development of the new capital city. The PLTS IKN commenced commercial operations on December 28, 2024, and is now actively supplying clean, renewable energy to Indonesia’s new capital, supporting the government’s green energy transition.
