We produce spherical/crushed quartz sand, extracted from rock deposits containing quartzites and sandstone quarries. The material is selected by a dry screening or hydroclassification process and subsequently dried and selected granulometrically before being delivered to the final customer. Quartz sand with a high content of silica (99%) is a hard material (7 mohs scale) with excellent resistance to wear, high temperatures (1700 °) and pressure up to 3Ton/cmq. We have various types of quartz coming from basins located in Nigeria, different characteristics depending on the extraction field. Fields of application: foundries, animistries, industrial floors, detergents in powder, civil-industrial sandblasting, paints and varnishes, manufactured goods in general, self-blocking blocks, special mortars in cement and resin, abrasives, wall coverings, water filtration, glassworks, ceramics, waterproofing, refractory sheaths, sports facilities, all sectors requiring decorative quartz etc. Advantages: excellent resistance to wear and high temperatures, limited absence or dustiness depending on the type of quartz chosen.
