Dolphin Association

The Dolphin Association is the place for veterans of the Israeli submarine fleet. The association wishes to create, together with its members, an active and vibrant community of submariners that support each other, preserve the Israeli submarine heritage and contribute in ever-growing circles to society in Israel. The association carries out specific projects for the benefit of its members, and supporting and preparing those who have just finished their service. The association will be a partner and promote educational projects that contribute to the awareness of the maritime space and the exposure of the world of submarines among the youth in Israel, in addition to support and help activities for the youth in various community projects from time to time and from a long-term perspective. We are always open for cooperations. עמותת דולפין תהווה ארגון גג לבוגרי שייטת הצוללות. העמותה תיצור, יחד עם חבריה, קהילת צוללנים פעילה ותוססת התומכת במשתחררים, משמרת את המורשת, מטפחת אחווה בין צוללנים ותורמת במעגלים הולכים וגדלים לחברה בישראל כולה. העמותה תקיים פרויקטים ייחודיים לטובת חבריה, תהווה גוף מוביל לתמיכה והכנת המשתחררים לאזרחות ותיצור ותטפח תשתית ופעילויות משותפות לעזרה בתעסוקה. העמותה תחבר בין דורות צוללנים, תשמר ותתעד את היסטוריית שייטת הצוללות ותהיה הגוף המחבר בין קהילת הצוללנים המשוחררים לבין השייטת לפעילויות במהלך השנה. העמותה תתמוך, בהתאם להנחיות צה"ל וככל שיתאפשר, ברווחת הלוחמים המשרתים בצוללות במסגרת פעילות חברתית והעשרה. העמותה תהיה שותפה ותקדם פרויקטי חינוך התורמים לתודעת המרחב הימי וחשיפת עולם הצוללות בקרב הנוער בישראל וזאת בנוסף לפעילות תמיכה ועזרה לנוער בפרויקטי קהילה שונים מעת לעת ומתוך ראייה ארוכת טווח.
