Damascene Pierre Paul, born in Port au Prince, Haiti and raised in Philadelphia, PA, started his career in 1990 studying film and acting, at Frank Silvera's workshop and working on different films such as New Jack City and Jungle Fever. He had a cameo roles on the film Cover in 2007.
Some of the most memorable highlights of Miss LaBelle's career Damascene was responsible for along with an array of albums. Damascene managed and arranged her clothing line with HSN in the USA & Germany, her in the play Chicago a the Pantageous Theatre in Hollywood and producing the 45th year anniversary at the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas that aired on UPN. He had creative support of her books "Light Cuisine" and "Patti's Pearls". The albums Damascene produced include "When a Women Loves" (2000), "Timeless Journey" (2004), "Classic Moments" (2005), and "Miss Patti's Christmas" (2007).
On the return of Miss LaBelle to the LaBelle group "For Patti, the idea of coming back together to record ad tour was all about timing.
