The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Islamic University of Science and Technology came into existence in the 2016 starting off with a four year Bachelor of Technology program. The Department has a highly qualified faculty who are actively involved in research. The Department is also equipped with a number of labs to familiarize students with the practical aspects of different mechanical systems. Currently, the department runs a PhD program as well.
