Founded in 2012, Domeyard was a quantitative trading firm that employed a fully automated approach, extracting signals with mathematical models. The firm made predictions and timed each trade down to the order of nanoseconds. Domeyard was a member of several exchanges, a registered swap firm, and an NFA member. At its peak, Domeyard traded billions in volume daily. Domeyard has ceased operations and we've returned capital in various entities after a graceful wind-down. We came to this decision after evaluating headwinds to our trading strategies; scalability, and the competitive landscape for talent acquisition. Our unique starting position also meant we were always resource-constrained compared to the incumbents, and having spent over ten years on this singular focus, we also took into consideration the mental toil to build up to the same operating efficiencies. We owe it to our LPs, investors, and employees that we made it so far.
