The Donor Conception Network (DCN) is at the forefront of the donor conception movement. We bring 30 years of experience and voices of members with lived experience to provide information and support to individuals and families, and to inform professionals, practitioners and policymakers in the UK and worldwide.
Our supportive charity network comprises more than 2.2k members (80 of whom volunteer for us) including:
✅ UK-based families with children conceived with donated sperm, eggs or embryos
✅ People who are thinking about or undergoing donor conception procedures
✅ Donor-conceived children and adults
✅ Professionals, practitioners and corporate partners.
Our VISION is clear - we want to see a society where a climate of openness and understanding about donor conception enables people considering it to make informed decisions and helps build families who are confident, accepted and have a secure identity.
Our MISSION is to deliver high quality, non-judgemental and inclusive support and information to would-be and current parents and their children to enable them to navigate the often complex and individual journey of donor conception.
